ALBEMARLE INN POLICIES

We appreciate that you have chosen the Albemarle Inn for your Asheville visit, and we want you to know that your reservation is very important to us. We have a limited number of rooms, so your reservation is a guarantee of your accommodations, and we look forward to providing you with an exceptional experience during your visit.

Deposit Policy
At time of reservation, you will be charged the full night rate for one night or 50% of the total nights’ stay for two or more days. Taxes are applied to the balance of the stay, charged upon check-in.

Please note - We impose a convenience fee of 0.5% on the amount of all card transactions.
Facility Fee - Our $15 facility fee (per reservation) is a small daily charge that helps us maintain and provide a range of amenities to enhance your stay.

Cancellations/Changes for Direct Bookings only
Our cancellation policy is as follows: If a cancellation is received more than 72 hours prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded to your credit/debit card less a $50.00 processing fee per room. In the event the cancellation is received less than 72 hours prior to your arrival, we allow you to either move your reservation dates, or we will issue a gift certificate for the full amount of your deposit. Early departures or no-shows are considered cancellations and are treated in accordance with the described policy.

Please see cancellation details on your reservation if you have booked through a third-party site. Guests who have reserved accommodations with a third-party affiliate, such as Expedia and Booking.com, will need to reach out to them to initiate any cancellations or changes to their reservation. Gift Certificates are not issued to third-party reservations, and the cancellation policy is non-negotiable.

As a small business with limited resources, we must strictly adhere to the cancellation policy. If you are uncertain about your ability to keep your reservation, we strongly recommend that you consider trip insurance. You can acquire trip insurance at www.travelguard.com or through other insurers.

Check-in: Anytime after 3:00PM
Please call us if you expect to arrive after 5:00PM so we can make arrangements for an after-hours self check-in. Our front desk is staffed daily from 8:00AM–5:00PM. If we are able to accommodate an early check-in, there will be a $25 fee added to your reservation.
Check-out: 11:00 AM.

Due to our guests' requests, we are a smoke-free property, which includes e-cigarettes and the burning of incense. We do have a designated smoking area on the property, away from the Inn and near our gardens.

We love pets, but unfortunately cannot accommodate them due to guest allergies. Please call and we can help you make arrangements to board your pet locally.

Children 12 and over are welcome at the Inn. Please call if you have special circumstances.

AUTO-COLLECT
At the time of booking, 50% of the reservation balance will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.


CHILDREN & PETS
Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Pets are welcome. Pets must weigh under 50 pounds. Only one pet is allowed per room at the max weight of 50lbs. Crates are requested, but not required. There will be a $50 pet fee per night.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.

PET POLICY
The Inn has three designated pet-friendly rooms: Ribbons & Roses, Old Oak, and the Blue Ridge Room. Only one pet is allowed per room at the max weight of 50lbs. Crates are requested, but not required. Pets MUST be with their owners when they leave the property, no exceptions. There will be a one time $50 pet fee.

CHILDREN'S POLICY
Children 12 years and older are welcome at the Inn. No exceptions on this policy. Please note extra person fees will be applied for children if there are more than 2 guests per room.
