First floor, queen-bedded room with fireplace. One of the original parlors, this front room features a Queen-Sized Arts & Crafts styled Bed & nightstand ensemble. A fine carved armoire commands the entrance to this room. The golden glow of yellow and browns creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. An electric fireplace enhances its warmth. A modern spa-inspired shower in the ensuite bathroom adds a fresh and clean look to the "Old Oak". A cozy corner with a pair of armchairs provides a comfortable spot for reading or just relaxing, while enjoying the romantic fireplace glow.

First floor, queen-bedded room with fireplace. Elegantly decorated in English and Victorian furnishings, this first floor room enjoys sunlight from both eastern & southern facing windows. The newly renovated bathroom boasts an off-white-tiled walk-in shower. A Queen-Sized Bed, and a working fireplace complete this romantic and inviting room, painted in soft neutral tones. *Fireplace Out of Order*

Second floor, king-bedded room with sitting room. Sunrise Suite is an elegant bedroom and sitting room combination. The spacious bedroom features a magnificent King-Sized carved mahogany canopied Bed with matching dresser. The walls of this classic room are covered with lovely period wallpaper in the tones of an early summer morning – soft butter yellow, pale blue and sage green. The bed is canopied with complementary fabrics. The enclosed separate sun porch provides just the right spot for some quiet time, to relax, read a favorite book, or enjoy viewing the additional television.The compact bathroom has a tub-shower combination, with sliding glass door.

Second floor, queen-bedded room with a private balcony. An elegant and romantic corner room at the front of the mansion, Juliet's Chamber features its own private balcony overlooking the gardens and the stately Norway spruce trees that flank the Inn's Corinthian columns. Juliet's Chamber is decorated in bright and airy tones of blue and white. The Queen-Sized four-poster Bed is regally placed across from the room's entrance. Furnished additionally with an antique armoire and a petite dresser. The bistro table & accompanying upholstered armchairs create a perfect for in-room workplace, or spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The light-filled bath features a marble and glass shower.

Second floor room with two queen-sized beds. The Garden is a special favorite for Girls' Getaways, Mother-Daughter Trips, or families traveling together as it features two Queen-Sized Beds. A cheery corner room on the second floor overlooking the veranda and front lawn, the Garden is furnished in White-Washed & Wicker furnishings with two comfortable armchairs for reading. The Garden is decorated with a fresh green, blue, and white hydrangea & floral motif. The bathroom features an old fashioned claw footed tub, with a shower attachment, and shower curtain.

Second floor, king-bedded room with fireplace. Located on the second floor, Vanity Fair is one of the inn's most spacious rooms, elegantly furnished with a King-Sized Sleigh Bed. This westerly facing room is awash in evening sunlight. Its color scheme of walnut & taupe tones with green accents sets a timeless atmosphere for a relaxing respite. A fireplace adds perfectly to the romantic ambiance. The bathroom has a modern tub/shower combo with a sliding glass door.

Second floor, king-bedded room. A bright corner room with two walls of windows decorated in fresh colors of blue and yellow. A far-off view of the Blue Ridge Mountains can seen out of the western facing windows. The King-Sized Brass and ivory enameled iron Bed is perfect for a good night's rest. Two plush armchairs and a corner electric fireplace offer a cozy spot for reading and relaxing. The ornately carved armoire contains the flat screen TV. The bathroom, originally part of a sleeping porch, features an antique claw-foot tub with attached shower enclosure.

Third floor, king-bedded room. Named for Dr. Carl Reynolds, the first owner of the mansion, this corner room on the west side of the Inn is filled with the afternoon sunshine through its four windows and offers a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. The room features a spacious King-Sized Sleigh Bed. A marble-topped bureau, a corner table and two comfortable wing backed chairs complete the room's furnishings. The bath includes a separate tile stall shower in addition to the clawfoot tub which is nestled in a cozy nook.

Third floor, queen-bedded room with additional twin bed. Bartok's Retreat is a pleasant bright room on our third floor with a view of the tree-tops and the song birds which inspired the composer's Third Piano Concerto. The western exposure offers a lovely small view of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. A Queen-Sized Sleigh Bed and an additional Twin bed in a dormer alcove provide sleeping room for three. Other furnishings include two comfortable upholstered chairs, a dresser and a writing desk. The room's sage green decor offers a relaxing atmosphere. The compact cheery yellow bathroom has a slant ceiling walk-in shower, with shower curtain. The pedestal sink is located by the window.

Third floor, king-bedded room with additional twin bed, sitting area and a two-person whirlpool tub. Truly a hide-away, this spacious & luxurious room is tucked up on our third floor. It has a roomy King-Sized Sleigh Bed. Decorated in warm neutral tones, this room offers a peaceful and relaxing get-away. A twin bed in a dormer alcove provides additional sleeping space. The luxurious marble accented bath is has a two-person whirlpool tub and a separate Shower. The spacious sitting area, perfect for relaxing after a day on the town, is furnished with a Queen Ann loveseat and chairs.

Third floor, queen-bedded room. A little bit of France in the North Carolina Mountains, this charming, cozy room features a skylight over the antique enamel Queen-Sized Bed. Two comfortable French ladderback chairs with toile country French fabric cushions are located in a small alcove. The matching custom-made sunny yellow silk bedding and window treatments are echoed in the bath which offers an antique clawfoot tub/shower combination set in a nook with a sloping roof.
